Comparison of purification methods and bottled waters

  1. Deionization Very effective for removing dissolved solids. Requires periodical regeneration with acid and caustic. Not effective against organics, particles and bacteria.

  2. Carbon Filtration Removes volatile organics and chlorine. Limited life. Can breed bacteria. Comparison: the Fuller Life process is as effective for removing volatile organic chemicals, but more effective against bacteria, pyrogens and dissolved solids. Fuller Lifes water quality does not degrade over time.

  3. Reverse Osmosis Removes particulates, some organics, most microorganisms and 90% of dissolved solids. Membranes can be maintenance intensive and require periodic replacement. Feed water pretreatment is critical. High waste water discharge levels. Comparison: Fuller Life is superior in removing in removing dissolved solids, bacteria and viruses, heavy metals, radioactives and organics. Feed water does not affect purity and you never have to worry about our maintenance time or costs.

  4. Spring and Artesian Water ?????? Ground water is a big mystery in today's environment. With over 75,000 chemical compounds in industrial and agricultural use it is impossible to accurately assess the status of ground water. It is almost certainly true that at one time a naturally occurring spring was one of the best sources of ground water. However, it is becoming ever more unlikely for ground water to remain uncontaminated. Fuller Life Water is reliably pure.

  5. Conventional Distillation Removes 99% of dissolved solids, particulates and bacteria. Fuller Life uses the most advanced distillation and is more effective in the removal of volatile organics due to two degassers.

  6. Water Softeners Softeners are not filters nor purifiers and only change the water hardness. Softeners replace magnesium and calcium ions in the water with sodium.

  7.  Alkaline Water - ph electrodes in highly pure water become jumpy, flow sensitive and inaccurate. Pure water is a relative term for low conductivity water of   less than 500 uS/cm. Fuller Life Water consistantly tests between .3 to .6 uS/cm which is considered " Ultra Pure". Fuller Life Water recommends drinking pure water complimented with a healthy diet rich in alkaline foods if you are concerned about your bodies ph. Most of the information available about alkaline water is marketing material, not medical, and not scientific. We understand there are health conditions which may require individuals to maintain an alkaline diet, but beware of "hype" and consult your doctor and nutritionist before accepting that alkaline water is going to cure the multitude of conditions and diseases listed in the marketing material we have seen about alkaline water. Balancing your bodies ph is not a new issue. Please feel free to call us to discuss this issue further.
